Once a project is created, the manager adds tasks. Tasks are activities assigned to specific users. When tasks are assigned to users, they are notified by email.

In Celoxis you can create a hierarchy of tasks using Sub-tasks. This allows you to create a hierarchy or work breakdown structure. Tasks can be set to be dependent on other tasks with lead and lag times. Celoxis has a scheduling engine that automatically calculates start and end dates for dependent tasks based on your company's working hours, holidays and user's vacation time.
